On offer is this antique, ceramic, under glaze-advertised , green print AME RI CAN "pot lid" for Cold Cream. This lid dates to ca 1880. As you can see, it advertises the Company for which this container top was made, namely, the Caswell-Massey Company , which had several retail outlets in NEW YORK & RHODE ISLAND. This lid is pretty SCARCE and hard to come by.

It measures about 2 1/2 in diameter. Super little East Coast collectible for "pot lid" collectors or N.
