MACY & JENKINS WHISKEY ADVERTISING BOTTLE CRATE NY EDGAR HARRISON PROHIBITION. GREAT EXTREMELY RARE ANTIQUE turn of the century Macy & Jenkins 67 Liberty St. Shows obvious signs of use with age appropriate wear.Retains some of its identifying graphics see pics I have not cleaned this Don't expect box it to be perfect its well over 100 years old. It looks to have held a large bottle of whiskey maybe 5 gallons or so Has a flip up galvanized lid to access bottle top.
Crate has two old wire carry handles on top and one handle near lower side possibly for pouring of whiskey. Readable graphics both ends Macy & Jenkins and graphics on one side Edgar Palmer Harison N. And the word Glass stated on top.
Looks mostly original probably not the bottom. This crate Measures 22" tall x 14 1/2" x 12. This is an amazing piece of early advertising great for a Country Store display or for any serious collector.
