For more bottles, Montana historic relics, coffee cans, signs, etc see the Montana Bottle collectors assoc within the Great Falls Gun and Antique show this April 26 Fri at 3 to 7 and Sat and Sun 9 to 6 and 9 to 3. This is possible one of his earliest bottles. I talked to a well known long time Bitters collector and he felt there was more info out there to say this did hold bitters. A great looking bottle, heavy, nice color and applied top 9 3/4 tall.
Beautiful in daylight or natural light you see the golden honey color! Condition: Smells like light oil inside and I see no stain, sometime bottles would barely have haze but people would spray something like En Dust to coat the inside. In picture 3 sideways you see the scratches on the panel both sides of emb and down by the base as well.Without the direct light shining on it in pic 4 you dont see this. There some scuff scratches by the base and shoulder but looks fine displayed. Each side, see all 3 pics, has a little scuff areas, the back is 2 by 1/2 wide. Rt side some scratches on side and some abrasion at the shoulder. Left side just light high point scuff toward base. Nice crude neck with bubbles and swirls. One tiny open bubble on base but NO chips or cracks!
