This is an Original, Extremely, Rare, American, "Patent / Proprietary Medicine" Bottle, from New York City, Circa 1840. The Bottle is Six-Sided, Rectangular, in Shape, + Features, a Very Crudely, "Applied", Square-Collar Top / "Lip-Finish", which is Drippy + Great Looking!! The Three Front-Panels are Embossed w/ "BALM OF THOUSAND / FLOWERS / MERCHANT / NEW YORK". The Bottle Features Great, Over-All, Crudeness, with Amazing "Whittle-Marks" Cool, Air-Bubbles, Nice, Early, Crooked, Large Embossed Letters + a Circular "Open-Pontil-Scar" on the Base. CONDITION: The Bottle is in Great, Probably "Dug", Original, Condition w/ NO FORMS OF "DAMAGE", NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS, NO OPEN-BUBBLES, NO POT-STONE "RADIATIONS", NO "FLEA-BITES", NO "ISSUES", NO DINGS. There is Some Sporadic, Light-Staining, More-So, in The Neck of the Bottle, + Some Occasional Very Light "Rainbow" Effect. I know that this Bottle will, Quickly "Tumble" To Perfection!!
Very Clean + Very Nice!! This is a Very, Very Scarce "Balm of Thousand Flowers" Type Bottle, of which there are Many Different Proprietors, from Various Cities, in the USA, who Made Similar Products. I had never seen this One, which was made by a George Merchant / Druggist, of New York City, who is Not to be Confused with the G.
