Antique 1840's-Era, Mold-Blown, "Pontiled" American, Proprietary, or "Patent" Medicine Bottle, which is Square, in Shape, and Features, Chamfered-Corners, and (4) Four Embossed Panel-Sides, which Read: DR. TOWNSEND'S SARSAPARILLA - ALBANY NY (There seems to be an X before the letters NY- that I cannot find what it means)" The Photos Show the Incredible Crudity, and gem-like "Whittle-Marks, Pools, and Swirls of Delicate Bubbles, hay marks and the highly relieved, thick, crooked - and off-centered, classic lettering. Embossing, seen classic 19th century font and styling. The bottle is in mint condition with no chips, no cracks, no open-bubbles, no pot-stone radiations, no nicks, no visible staining, no scratching, no nicks, no issues, no dings. The bottle was acquired from an estate sale and any imperfections that have occurred only add to the charm and uniqueness of this item.
