RARE Crude FLOURESCENT Green UNUSUAL Shape BARTLETT & PLUMMER Druggists NEW YORK

RARE Crude FLOURESCENT Green UNUSUAL Shape BARTLETT & PLUMMER Druggists NEW YORK. This bottle has such an unusual bright eerie alien neon flourescent green color, looks like it would almost glow in the dark - very cool and super rare find!! Its also in a pretty odd looking and distinctly different shape for a typical druggist type bottle, the coller or ring around the shoulder is strange looking don't you think. BARTLETT & PLUMMER were druggists and manufacturing chemists who operating at 1300 Broadway and at 405 Fifth Avenue in New York during the early 1900s. Looks like this company did produce a tonic cordial called Plummer's Coca Wine which was probably a label only bottle, but wonder if this was that product judging by the shape of the bottle as it does somewhat resemble other coca wine/cordial bottles of that era.

See the link below to a website I found with some great info about this company and photo of the same bottle. Bold embossing across the front that says BARTLETT & PLUMMER DRUGGISTS & CHEMISTS NEW YORK , base has an unusually large bump or tit in the middle but no other embossing. Its an early mold blown bottle, seams end down on the lower neck area.

Height is about 9-1/4 inches tall, about 2-3/4 inches across the base with a slight upward taper that makes it a little larger around the shoulder. If you're seriously interested, make me an offer and maybe a deal can be worked out, its time for a new home now.

Color makes this a real stunner in any light condition. With or without back lighting this bottle shows itself off beautifully!! Please see all the photos I've provided to highlight this superb colored drugstore. Condition of this fine glass bottle is still bright and shiny looking inside and outside, has no real damage of any kind, no nicks, chips or cracks, really don't even see any minor scuffing and I've looked it over very carefully, i ts basically as close to MINT (if there is such a term for antique glass) as you would ever find.

Absolutely NO disappointments here guaranteed!! All the embossing is also very strong and bold. Bottom line, its a stunning display bottle and would make a great addition to anyone's bottle collection.
