Rare Open Pontil Wm&p Ny (wells Miller & Provost)crude Whittled Catsup Bottle

Here's a rare early pontiled catsup or sauce bottle from Wells Miller & Provost of New York.... Dug from an 1840s outhouse privy pit. Y bold emb vertically on front of bottle. Hand blown in mold, bimal... Round with long sloping shoulder.....

Excellent condition with no chips or damage. An open seed bubble on inside surface of back shoulder.. And another open bubble on very bottom of inside surface (which is the little circle you see next to the pontil scar).

A dug bottle with some normal light haze & some small light scratches. Very crude super whittled glass! Should tumble clean to near mint. A hard to find early pontiled emb W. M & P catsup bottle.
