Scarce NEWBURGH NEW YORK blob top THASMO soda or mineral water bottle J HOFFMAN

Nice TURQUOISE AQUA-MARINE colored RARE blob or THASMO top Newburgh New York soda or mineral water antique bottle. This is a very early hand B lown I nto M old with A pplied L ip (BIMAL) bottle, dating way back to the late 1800's. JULIUS HOFFMAN / NEWBURGH / N. , in a tombstone shaped slug plate. Then on the backside it is embossed REGISTERED / THE THASMO / PAT. Condition : This bottle is in GOOD SOLID condition. It has some patches of cloudy stain AND typical old soda bottle wear, just enough to give it that old rustic look. It actually looks just like what a CENTURY OLD PLUS soda bottle would look like, a little weathered though NOTHING SIGNIFICANTLY wrong with it. NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. (See photos for overall condition). Age : A hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIMAL) with a super early APPLIED Thasmo blob top, ca. Note that this bottle has a very LARGE and EXTRAORDINARY blob type top. I believe the THASMO embossing on the back of this bottle refers to the top, which is why I refer to it as a Thasmo blob top. It is an early bottle as the top is NOT a tooled top but an old APPLIED top, where the whole top of the bottle was created separately and then applied to the bottle.
