Stunning! 1800's G. W. Merchant Chemist Lockport N. Y. Antique Medicine Bottle

This beautiful Lockport bottle was blown in a mold and is one of the most beautiful I have seen, however it has a polished out chip on the lip (see pics 4 & 6). The chip is about 1/4 wide but does not cut down into the top of the lip very much, it is more a flake off of the side. Otherwise it is in EXCELLENT condition! MERCHANT CHEMIST bottle stands 7 1/4" tall and is 3 1/4" in diameter.

It has a nice large applied lip, is heavily whittled, is a bit out of round, has a few small bubbles, and it is STRONGLY EMBOSSED! It looks amazing in the sunlight as demonstrated in the photos!! MERCHANT CHEMIST BOTTLES rarely come up for sale and are highly sought after by collectors!!
