Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! Here we have an extremely rare and beautiful bottle. TURNER BROTHERS//NEW YORK, BUFFALO, NY//& SAN FRANCISCO. CAL The embossing is in three lines. It is the old yellow Amber color, quite similar to that of Stoddard glass, although I do not know where it was made.

Usually found in the more common barrel form, this Turner's is called the "floating Turners" because the base is smaller than the shoulder, the whittle in the glass, and all round unevenness. Also the base is chamfered so it does appear to be floating. This exact bottle can be seen at Peachridge glass website. The dimensions are 9 3/4 in.

The lip is applied and sloped. The base is chamfered as all sides are as well.

The base is smooth with an Oval recessed up inside and there is a dot there as well. There are bubbles small and all except one are closed.

The open one is very small no legs and does not detract from the beauty of this piece. Inside the are dark spots, either particulate matter in the glass or content residue. I do see some very light scratches here and there again nothing glaring and mentioned only for complete description. Thanks again and good luck!
