Listing a small grouping of CLARKES tonite, right out of my personal collection. Pictures taken in both natural and indoor lighting. DESCRIPTION: An Early variant of the Clarke's, it is a dense Olive Amber, embossed on the shoulder " JOHN CLARKE NEW YORK " It is 9 3/4" tall" , it is a very early smoothbase Literally hard to believe it is smoothbase as it is pre 1846 Lotsa tiny bubbles, some slag in the glass another early piece of glass As a side note, I collect the Clarke's from Lynch & Clarke all the way to Clarke & White, but just have too many and need to let a few go. Check my other auctions for other variants. CONDITION: No real damage I can see, a small open bubble under the "L", and another small one on the base edge, extremely minor.
