Antique c1880 Caswell-Massey, New York & Newport, Rhode Island Skin Cream pot lid

On offer here is an antique, (ca 1880) Caswell Massey & Co. Almost square (2 7/8" X 2 1/2") skin softening cream , advertising "pot lid" in red print and showing that the Company had branches in NEW YORK and Newport, RHODE ISLAND. This lid is in very good condition for it's approximate 140 years of age!! It is transfer printed under an over-glaze surface.
