Antique Giant Glass Bottle Hennessy Advertising Schieffelen & Co New York City

This bottles has no cracks or chips. It has aging and wear. It is from the very early 1900s. Original wooden base and brass stand and mount.

Engraved on the front at the base is. Hennessy Cognac Brandy 84 proof Schieffelin & Co NY. Engraved around the band that wraps below the shoulder of the bottle is. FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE USE OF THIS BOTTLE.

The cap/spout is marked with a logo and Hennessy on both sides. This is the oldest wholesale drug house in New York City. Bottle is very rare, and even more rare to include advertising. Excellent for weddings or catering or decorating or collecting. Very few of these were made.

This one was on a railroad, but thats all I know. Bottle itself is approx 20 inches tall, with the stand and spout its approx 24 inches tall. The length of the brass pillars is 10 inches. Please see photos for exact description and condition. It is a little dusty and could use a simple washing, but is overall very clean for being over 100 years old.
