This is an antique set of 3 perfume decanters which would have been used for dispensing perfume in a pharmacy or in another setting. Made circa 1900 for Richard Hudnut pharmacy in New York.
One of the photos shows this pharmacy. The are ceramic with ceramic lids and corks. They are marked the property of Richard Hudnut pharmacy indicating they were used off site. One bottle is stamped the jockey club which is where it may have been used the other 2 are Napoleon Violet.
There is crazing and tiny losses, one cork is stuck in the bottle see photos. They would make a great decorators piece or prop. 30 x 8 x 8cm. Richard Alexander Hudnut (June 2, 1855 - October 30, 1928) was an American businessman recognized as the first American to achieve international success in cosmetics manufacturing. The company once maintained separate US and European headquarters on Fifth Avenue in New York City and on the Rue de la Paix in Paris, respectively.
