The side is engraved with a livery coat of arms in the form of a Knights hand pointing upwards, and the Latin motto. The top twists to open. This is a wonderful and unusual little item, I like it alot! It weighs 41.6 grams. Marked STERLING, and there is another 3 little shapes near the rim of the screw lid, possibly the remains of a hallmark?
