Description : An Antique Stoneware grouping of Utica, New York interest, early-1900s. Each is described briefly below. First , a Beer Mug attributed to Whites of Utica, ca. Molded, cylindrical form with applied handle.

Body with impressed banding and Cobalt accents. Measures 4-7/8H x 4-3/4W overall, including the handle. The base and rim diameters are both 3.

Condition: Very Good with some minor glaze and surface imperfections, as-made. A small, glazed-over divot noted on lower handle (facing right). Next , a two-tone molded bottle with squared shoulder. Body with crisp underglaze transfer advertising within a rectangular frame, reading: ERIE BOTTLING WORKS / HOME BREWED / GINGER BEER / UTICA, N.

Lower reverse with an impressed oval stamp reading: SHERWOOD BROS. / POTTERY / NEW BRIGHTON, PA. Measures 7H x 2-3/4W overall. Condition: Very Good with wear and shallow flakes noted on base; and professional restoration noted on neck. Last , a two-tone molded bottle with eased, champagne form shoulder.

Body with crisp underglaze transfer advertising with stars and oval frames reading: ENNIS BROS. / GINGER BEER / UTICA, N. Measures 7-1/2H x 2-5/8W overall. Condition: Very Good with wear and shallow flakes noted on base; and minor staining noted on body.
