BEAUTIFUL 1800's OLD DR. TOWNSEND'S SARSAPARILLA N. Y, ANTIQUE BITTERS BOTTLE

Townsend's Sarsaparilla - N. Bottle was blown in a mold and has a smooth base pontil. It is a beautiful light TEAL and has a GLOPPY applied lip. Townsend's stands a towering 9 1/2 inches tall and is 3 inches wide and deep. The glass is CRYSTAL CLEAR and super smooth, just stunning!!! The "New York" panel is slightly caved in adding great character! There is also an interesting elevated mold defect on the flat panel that adds additional character! There are a few waves in the glass panels from the manufacturing process that make it look crude. There is a nice bubble on the New York panel and smaller bubbles scattered throughout. There is no damage what-so-ever! This bottle is made of thick heavy glass and looks amazing in the sunlight as demonstrated in the photos!! Townsend's don't come up for sale that often!!
