Beautiful Teal Green OLD DR J. TOWNSEND SARSAPARILLA NEW YORK Iron Pontil

I have to sell my personal collection of jars and bottles. I will be listing medicines, poisons, bitters, inks, canning jars, food jars, and other associated items. Please consider this sparkling 1850s bottle embossed OLD DR J. TOWNSEND SARSAPARILLA NEW YORK The embossment is very strong. The bottle is approximately 9 1/2" tall and 3" wide at the base. It is teal in color, and has an applied lip. The bottle sports an iron pontil.

There are some interesting bubbles in the glass. The condition of this bottle is very good. The glass is nice and shiny with only very issues. There is an approximately 1/2 scratch on the unembossed panel seen in the 4th photograph, and a few other minor scratches in other places on the bottle.

There is some roughness on the top of the lip as shown in the photographs. There are no cracks, chips, or dings. Please examine the photographs as further description. Please ask any questions you may have.
