Description - This is a pontil marked oval medicine from 177 Broadway in New York City. Giddings advertised his medicine as Giddings' Panacea for Purifying the Blood. The bottle is 7 3/4 tall , aqua, and oval with a tapered lip. Condition - This example is one of the most original ones that I have seen because it was found inside the walls of an 1850s NYC Brownstone during renovations. It still has a bit of inside haze/dirt just from sitting in the walls.
