Dr GUYSOTT'S YELLOW DOCK & SARSAPARILLA B&P NEW YORK. Description - This large crude sarsaparilla is just under 9 tall. The product was advertised in the 1850s to 1860s by Barnes & Park at #304 Broadway in New York city.

The bottle mold base was designed for an iron pontil rod but this example is smooth based. Condition - The bottle is clean with no damage. I can detect some very slight haze probably from being lightly cleaned. There is what looks to be several string-like marks running around the bottle surface.

It doesn't appear to be etching rather it looks like some thin strings of cooler glass were on the gather as the bottle was being blown.
