Edison Battery Jar 9BJ5 with Ceramic Lid & Knob, Corning Glass NY

Offered - Antique Edison 9BJ5 battery jar produced by Corning Glass Works. Measurements - The jar is 10 1/2" tall, 11 3/4" with the lid and knob, 6 3/8" x 5 1/2" opening. Condition - Good, exceptionally clean, and strong embossing. There is chipping around the edge of the ground lip with the most significant loss on two opposing corners (1 3/4" & 1 1/2"). Typical wear on the base. No additional cracks, chips, or damage. The lid is clean, no issues. The knob is not original, it appears to be a more modern production, but it does compliment the lid well.
