Empire Brewing Co. Antique Beer Bottle. New York. Pre-proh. Empty

Origins date back to 1825 in Troy, New York. Greenwich Village later became their home, opening in 1846 as Empire Brewing, a branch of the Troy brewery. First established in 1878 as Beadleston & Woerz. They were finally Incorporated in 1889.

After 1920 there were no seams on the bottles due to being mechanically spun. Eavy thick clear glass beer bottle. Excellent used condition with very little wear. Minor blown glass bubbles and such.

No chips or breaks or scratches. Embossed lettering on one side only.

Very clean but not perfect. Made for a cork lined crown. A great piece of American history. This bottle may have been refilled many times. This is the actual item you will receive.
