WELCOME and thanks for stopping by. I was actually able to get a listing done and started at a decent time for a change. These Albany Glass Works flasks are not encountered very often at all; but when you actually DO see one, it will most likely be in one of the major glass auctions. Well, since the weather over here hasn't been the greatest lately, I decided to go with some indoor (window) photos because the sun wasn't out anyway, although I still had good enough light to take pics of an aqua flask.
There is however, some nice depth to the aqua on this one. And not that I've seen many of these over the years, but of the ones I have seen, they were all in the more eye pleasing colors. So please be sure to check out all 12 photos because they too, are also to be considered as part of the description. I guess in photos #3 & 4, the wind and the waves started picking up a bit and the sea started to get a little choppy and I wasn't able to hold the camera steady. ; EXCELLENT condition and VERY near mint with no damage whatsoever, and with only a touch of high point in a few places. But that's exactly what you should expect to see on a piece of glass this old that has never been in the ground or tumbled/cleaned. Remember that you may not get another opportunity to own one of these flasks for a very LONG time; so don't regret letting this beauty pass you by. This early historical flask is guaranteed authentic and as described.
So b id with TOTAL confidence. BEST of LUCK to you! If you have a little time, please have a look at my other listings and remember to keep checking back for more SWEET antique glass to come in the near future. THANKS and have a great day!
