Here's a shiny attic mint regular size Hayward Hand Grnade Fire Extinguisher bottle from the 1880s with pleated sharp V ribs around bottle..... This bottle is completely empty as you can plainly see in the pics..... HAYWARD HAND GRNADE FIRE EXTINGUISHER NEW YORK (boldly emb around top of shoulder)..... Partial original paper label on a diamond shaped panel on front of bottle :"---THE--NADE SO THAT THE CONTENTS WILL BE SCATTERED OVER THE FLAMES"....

The red colored lead seal has been drilled in order to completely drain the contents, but you can still see it is emb HAYWARD'S HAND FIRE GRNADE TRADE MARK...... Hand blown in 3 pc mold.... Round with pleated hollow ribs around the bottle.... Excellent shiny mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind.

A nice clean empty bottle with no haze. When the grnade broke it would release a cloud of gas which was supposed to extinguish the fire.
