Holt-Lyon Co. Tarrytown, N. Y. Footed Beater, Mixer Jar

This is a very nice egg, mayonnaise beater, mixer jar. It's a piece of kitchenware that is also associated with the fruit jar collectors.

The glass jar is boldly embossed on the face The Holt-Lyon Co. " with the reverse side embossed "The Holt-Lyon Jar Cream / And / Mayonnaise Mixer. This is a quart jar with raised glass "feet" on the base. The mixer comes complete with the correct screw on beater attachment that is debossed around the face of the gear mechanism. The glass is nearly mint with no major damage other than surface scratches from over 100 years of use. The smooth ground lip has the normal grinding flaked done during the grinding process.
