John Moffat Phoenix Bitter Price 2 Dollars New York. Olive green, pontil scared base, Applied lip, 7 tall, Embossed all all sides - Blown at one of the early New England Glassworks Circa 1840 - 1850. An Extremely rare, LARGE colored embossed pontiled Bitters (Medicine) Unfortunatly damaged, There is a long crack on the New York side that appears to stem from an impact mark. (See Photos) This bottle is new to the market having been found in a barn in the southern states. The crack is extremely stable and sound. The bottle becasue of its color displays as mint.
