Not 1, but TWO EXTREMELY RARE JOSEPH N. GALWAY NEW YORK bottlesTOP SHELF PIECES

WELCOME and thanks for stopping by. So, here are two extremely rare bottles which are both embossed with JOSEPH N. GALWAY NEW YORK; although the 1/2 pint flask has JOS.

Instead of the full first name spelled out. Obviously, one's a short, squatty square which is approximately 8 3/4 inches in height with a base width of 3 3/8 inches and the other, as mentioned just above, is a 1/2 pint strap side flask.

The square, most likely, once held OLD CONTINENTAL WHISKEY / BOURBON as is illustrated in the photo below. The example being auctioned in this listing is the earlier made applied lip variant which, as far as I can tell , is in all original, un-dug & un-cleaned / tumbled condition and has only some VERY minimal and extremely MINOR wear and is. The square and after having taken years to reunite these bottles, I just couldn't bring myself to list them as separate pieces.

They SHOULD remain together in the same collection. So I hope the new owner will respect and continue that while these exceptional examples remain in their collection. The 1/2 pint had some very light stain when I first got it; so I know that it's. Been lightly and professionally cleaned. No damage and in a beautiful reddish.

Orange "sunset" amber with great shading. Hardly any sign of wear. To comment on which is the scarcer of these two bottles; because there isn't a wealth of info. But if I had to take a'gut'feeling guess, I'd have to say it's the flask.

I've never seen another one; or for that matter, even a photo of another example. The flask is 6 1/2 inches in height and I'm.

Please be sure to view all 12 photos carefully; as they too, are considered as being part of the description. BEST of LUCK to you! If you have time, please take a look through my other listings and remember to keep checking back for more SWEET antique glass to come in the near future. THANKS and have a great day!
