PONTIL OLIVE GREEN With CITRON DR. TOWNSENDS SARSAPARILLA ALBANY NEW YORK BOTTLE

This bottle is 9 ½ inches tall and 3 inches square. It has a sand chip type pontil on the bottom, a crude applied lip and dates from the 1840s. It is square with beveled corners. The bottle is a very nice medium to dark olive amber green overall with citron thoughout.

Its loaded with tiny seed bubbles and even has a nice streak of amber across the shoulder. Also it has a potstone with no radiates coming from it and fairly weak embossing towards the top of the lettering. This early bottle is in excellent original condition with no cracks, chips or dings with some light scratches overall. The bottle has never been tumbled or cleaned Please look at all of my pictures as I attempted to photo this bottle in all kinds of indoor and outdoor light.
