RARE Barrel BITTERS BOTTLE Lancaster Glass Works, NEW YORK Nice TOPAZ Color 1870's. FEATURED: RARE Barrel Lancaster BITTERS BOTTLE 1870's! We are by no means experts in color determination.

We took this Bitters to our local Bottle Show in Daphne, Alabama this weekend, and after asking seasoned High-End Bottle dealers, we have determined (with careful consideration), this example is a medium to dark "SMOKY TOPAZ" with OLIVE TONES in color! Was also informed this Bottle is very uncommon with this coloration!

The Bitters stands about 9 5/8 tall. Has a small 1" x 1" embossed "DIAMOND" on the front at Mid-Body. Base embossed: LANCASTER GLASS WORKS / LANCASTER N.

This Example has: EXTENSIVE WHITTLE MARKS around the NECK; many IN-THE-GLASS-BUBBLES; and STRONG SIDE MOLD SEAMS! Photographed the Bottle in several degrees of sunlight to show the coloring of the Bottle! The Bottle can be picked up locally. CONDITION: The RARE Barrel Lancaster BITTERS BOTTLE has: some wear, inner rim lip roughness next to a 3/16" x 1/8" flake - which appears to be a result of the shearing manufacturing process before the blob top was applied, and light inside content staining.
