RARE GORGEOUS Seegers Fein Signed Dated Ethereal Planetary Glass Perfume Bottle
For your consideration, I offer to you today an Absolutely Exquisite and Rare Seegers Fein Signed & Dated Ethereal Planetary Glass Perfume Bottle. It's clearly signed Seegers Fein, however the date is difficult to read, but I believe it says 1997. This perfume bottle is in excellent vintage condition with the usual scratches at the bottom upon where it sits. The detail within is gorgeous, where grayish planet like forms are interspersed with bubbles. There are stray bubbles elsewhere as well.
I've taken photos both with and without the light source. I used the light source (not included) to better show you the interplay of these forms, bubbles and swirls. The perfume bottle with stopper inserted is approximately 5" tall x approximately 2 1/2 wide at its widest point, and approximately 4 1/4" tall without the stopper inserted.
This husband and wife team work together from their studio located in Trumansburg, NY. Donna began working with glass in 1972. She convinced her husband, Richard, to join her in creating superior works of art glass. Richard's background as a biochemical researcher is a main asset in formulating uniquely colored glass which is made by dissolving varying quantities of metal oxides into their glass art.
