See Tuckers book on Saratoga's.... Boldly embossed LYNCH & CLARK NEW YORK in the best serif text you will ever see on a Saratoga. It's the Quart variant with an applied sloping collar and lower bevel.
There are remnants of the pontil scar across the crude mold seam. The color is awesome and the glass has tremendous texture, feel & character to it.It does have a 3/4 flat sliver chip off of the top of the collar and an associated flake. This is an excellent candidate to have professionally repaired as I looked into it already. I did enter it into the Best Saratoga Type bottle bash at last years FOHBC National show in Springfield and as you can see it won 3rd place. I will include the award with the bottle so they stay together.
