Here is an extremely rare vintage 1905 "Twoplex" Boxed Demijohn made by Fred C. One side has one handle for carrying, and the other has 2, one for carrying and the second for pouring. It has a great galvanized lid that hinges on one side and is designed to slide off to the side of the opening so that you can pour out of it. It is in excellent condition as you can see in the pics, with great patina to the wood, no damage to the case or bottle, it could use a little cleaning.

I found it in a barn here in upstate PA, I wiped it off, but i will leave the final detailing to the new owner. It measures 20.5" high, and is 12" by 12 square. I have not filled it to see how much it holds, but it appears to be about a 5 gallon bottle.

It does not move inside the box, it is firmly secured. This is a local estate find (straight out of the barn) here in the Endless Mountains region of Northeast Pa and has not been offered on the market before. Thanks for looking, and have a great day!
