Rare W. H. MOUNTFORT, NEW YORK Collodion Chemical Bottle c1857 Crystal Varnish

Up for sale is this Rare W. MOUNTFORT, NEW YORK Collodion Chemical Bottle c1857 Crystal Varnish. The glass is Light Aqua Glass with some bubbles (as made) - Slight Interior Stain. Maker mold marks and a very small flea bite on rim. Bottle is about 5 3/4" and the almost round bottom is a little over 2 1/8". This bottle would have held collodion chemicals for Ambrotypes or Tintypes. The last two photos are only for reference. The one is an ad for W. Mountfort and the last photo is a labeled bottle for Mountforts Chrystal Varnish. See my other auctions for other photographic items.
