Rare Yellow Hayward's Hand Fire Grnade Pat. 1871 Broadway Ny Sunk Diamond Panels

This is a beautiful scarce YELLOW color Hayward's Hand Fire Grnade blown glass fire extinguisher bottle with 1871 patent date embossed! This is an empty bottle with no contents as you can plainly see. It is embossed HAYWARD'S HAND FIRE GRNADE boldly in one sunken diamond shape panel.... 8 1871 in 2nd sunken diamond panel..... HAYWARD 407 BROADWAY NY in 3rd sunken diamond panel.....

4th diamond is plain, but has a couple ghosted words that were peened out of the mold..... A big number 3 on bottom..... Hand tooled ring collar with smooth top.... Unique round shape with sunken diamond panels and sunken V ribs....

Excellent attic nice condition with no chips or damage.... Some light spotty content haze which probably could be cleaned out. When the bottle broke it would release a cloud of gas which was supposed to extinguish the fire. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your business....
