Scarce Antique Erie Crate Co. Meadow Brook Dairy Milk Bottle Crate Olean, NY. This is an old wood slat milk crate with metal frame that was made for Meadow Brook Dairy in Olean, New York by the Erie Crate Company. Wood sides have engraved "Meadow Brook Diary, 8 Olean, NY 55" text.

Inside has Erie Crate stamp. Crate measures 15 inches long. This type of crate was meant to hold 20 pint or half pint sized glass milk bottles. Crate has ridge on bottom and nubs on the corners for stacking with other similar crates. Very good condition with no breaks or damage, but shoes lots of age, wear, weathering and tarnish as pictured.
