The filling stands were designed with a protective cage that covered the seltzer bottle as it was being filled to protect the operator from injury if the bottle were to explode in the process. This machine was made by the Consolidated Syphon Supply Company of New York.
There are no other marks, model numbers or patents to refer to. I would expect this to be vintage 1930s.I cannot guarantee that it is operable as it is, but all parts appear to be there. There are a few rust spots here and there but it is, in overall, good shape.
There is a band that fastens to and secures the filling tank that is broken. I acquired this almost 25 years ago with the intention of restoring it for display and actual use.
Now I will leave that to someone else. This is very heavy, weighing between 115-120 pounds. Therefore, this item is offered as PICK-UP only.
