TROY ALBANY NEW YORK De FREEST Stoneware Advertising Root Beer Bottle
Pictured is a short advertising stoneware root beer bottle. The primitive salt glazed bottle is incised with blue E. It is one of the earliest root beer bottles known such that Ezra was producing the root beer beverage in both Troy & Albany, New York between 1842 - 1851. The bottle measures but 6 3/4 in height and is in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs.
