WELCOME and thanks for stopping by. I hope everyone had a very nice Thanksgiving. I could have probably gone the whole day today without eating. But a big Thanksgiving dinner will only sustain you for so long and then I wouldn't have had the energy to finish up this listing. ; This color of text isn't exact, but it IS pretty close to the color of the glass.
This is definitely a very interesting example when you study it for a bit and there are some very noticeable differences between this example and a more often encountered one. A few of the most noticeable are that there's a series of raised dots all over the embossing. Some kind of original reference points for the mold maker perhaps? Then, the lower arm of the F is very faint and is nearly non-existent and in quite a few of the photos, it looks like it's missing completely.
Then there's the herringbone/boomerang pattern that travels the length of the front left corner of the safe. Lastly, the safe has a line underneath it with another raised dot right in the center.
I suppose that line is meant to represent a floor that the safe is standing on. The bottle is very crude, has no damage, and looks to be just as it was made aside from just that little, tiny amount of wear.
However, I will point out that there's a thin, compressed bubble encased in the lip that's got lots and LOTS of tiny micro bubbles clustered around it and I took quite a few pics trying to get a good, close up of it, but pic #11 is the best I was able to get. But I made sure that's what it is because at fist, I thought it was a bruise or flash in the lip. So this very scarce Warner's may look pretty nice to you in the photos (at least I HOPE it does), but know that it's definitely looking even better than what the photos are showing. For color comparison in pic #5, I have the London 1/2 pt. So I've seen plenty of Warner's in my travels, but this is one that I can't recall seeing more than 4, possibly 5 of in approximately 20 years of collecting bottles. As far as I can tell, i t's in all original condition and has never been in the ground or cleaned/tumbled. It's very near mint, is in a very attractive lighter color, and there's hardly any wear. It would definitely be very difficult and challenging to find a better example to improve on this bottle. Please be sure to view all of the pictures carefully as they too are to be considered as part of the description. BEST of LUCK to you!
